Despite single-digit wind chills, Team Stra-FREEZE-ic Factory proudly joined thousands of participants at Special Olympics Maryland’s annual Polar Bear Plunge, all in support of an incredible cause.
Our team braved the cold to raise awareness and support for athletes with intellectual disabilities, reinforcing Strategic Factory’s community involvement and ongoing commitment to giving back locally.
As of February 6, the Polar Bear Plunge has raised $4,152,792.81 toward its $4.75 million goal, demonstrating the overwhelming support from individuals, families, and businesses across Maryland. Corporate teams alone have contributed more than $570,000, highlighting the important role local companies play in strengthening community initiatives.
The Polar Bear Plunge is one of Maryland’s largest winter fundraising events, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds to make a meaningful local impact for Special Olympics athletes and programs statewide.
We are proud of our team members Maeve Yeager, Brady Miller, Brenda Johnson, Emily Jaeger, Bobby Cardoni, Melissa Flayshman, and Sarah Briggs, who stepped up, suited up, and took the plunge for a purpose. Their dedication reflects Strategic Factory’s values of teamwork, compassion, and community engagement.
Thank you to Special Olympics Maryland for hosting such an inspiring event, and to everyone who continues to support their mission of creating inclusive opportunities for athletes across our state.
