Keith Miller Appointed to the Northwest Hospital Board

Strategic Factory is proud to announce that our President & CEO, Keith Miller, has officially joined the Northwest Hospital Board, part of the LifeBridge Health system.

Keith was invited to serve by longtime board member Pat Isaac of Capital Services, and he joins Scott Kuhlman of Heart to Beat, along with a diverse group of community and business leaders, helping to guide the hospital’s continued growth. Together, this board collaborates closely with LifeBridge Health President Neil Meltzer and Northwest Hospital President & CEO Craig Carmichael, whose leadership continues to shape the hospital’s expanding impact.

A Commitment to Community Impact

Keith shared that he feels deeply honored to take on this role and contribute his business experience, operational background, and strategic mindset to a healthcare organization he greatly admires. Board meetings are held regularly and focus on operations, opportunities, challenges, and long-term initiatives designed to strengthen patient care and hospital performance.

I’m incredibly impressed by the mission, culture, and dedication of their entire team,” Keith said. “I have tremendous respect for the work they do and the level of care they provide, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to support that work in a meaningful way.”

Supporting a Hospital on the Rise

Northwest Hospital has made significant strides over the last several years, including the recent opening of its new emergency room, where Keith joined other leaders and board members during the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The 15-month, $6 million renovation expanded and modernized the entrance and treatment areas, adding new triage rooms, an express treatment area, enhanced security, and a dedicated space for behavioral health patients.

The redesign also streamlines ambulance arrivals, allowing acutely ill patients to receive faster, more private care. As Craig Carmichael noted, the emergency department serves the majority of admitted patients, and the updated space reflects the hospital’s commitment to efficiency, patient-centered care, and the growing needs of the community.
