The May ConneX AM is powered by Sandler - McDonell Consulting Group and features our guest Scott Melamed speaking on "Leveraging AI to Create Opportunities for Your Employees and Your Business!"

Scott will cover a brief introduction to AI, some types of AI, some common AI tools, how he leverages AI in his businesses and how he's seen others use AI, some industry- and non-industry-specific examples, how AI can help owners, managers, and employees across all levels, and a brief look at where AI is headed. This is vital and current information for every businessperson.

Scott is presently the President & Chief Operating Officer of 2 sister practice groups, ProMD Health, and Baltimore Tattoo Removal. He is also one of the Founders of Telthera, a men’s health-focused telemedicine technology company, and the President & Founder of the ProMD Development Group, which is a Franchisor for the ProMD Health concept. In 2017 Scott led his team to win the Torch Award for Business Ethics from the Better Business Bureau.

Scott brings a wealth of experience from a management consulting background. Prior to joining Accenture, Scott worked in academia studying pancreatic and urologic cancers at Weill Cornell, Columbia NY Presbyterian Hospital, Sloan Kettering, and Johns Hopkins. Scott attended the Johns Hopkins Medical Institution, where he earned his graduate degree and focused his coursework on Novel Drug Development and Large Firm Leadership. Scott is a published author in academic journals.

Apart from his academic pursuits, Scott has also gained clinical experience working as a Firefighter and EMT in New York. His experiences in that arena have made him proficient at operating well in high-stress and high expectation environments.
