Strategic Factory #6 in Printing News Magazine’s Top 100
Strategic Factory Maintains Sixth Spot In The Top 100 Quick And Small Commercial Printer Rankings
Printing News magazine announced Strategic Factory as #6 in its annual Top 100 Quick and Small Commercial Printers rankings for 2018.
The year 2017 was a good year for quick and small commercial printers, as this year’s Top 100 companies indicate. Total sales figures reported were $652,624,639, and 80% of the Top 100 reported growth in revenue during 2017. In tandem with a healthy economy, this number is only expected to grow in 2018. Based on the economic performance within print for the first quarter of 2018, projections of growth between 2%-3% are expected—keeping this industry upturn at a slow but consistent pace.
Strategic Factory’s CEO Keith Miller was an early adapter and pioneer of diversification. Miller founded Strategic Factory as a one-stop shop for business and marketing collateral, including print, mail, graphic design, signage, website design, promotional products and customized branded apparel. Industry experts expect something other than printing (such as mailing, fulfillment, database management, marketing services, web service, etc.) to provide 31.6% of their revenue in 2018, up from just 13.3% in 2012.
Since opening in January of 2015, Strategic Factory has been ranked in the top 10 each year: #8 in 2015, #7 in 2016 and #6 in both 2017 and 2018. The company saw an 18% increase in sales from 2016 to 2017. Miller’s goal is to crack the top five next year.
“If you’re not moving forward, you’re falling behind,” he stated. “While we remained at number six, we saw the most increase of any of the top 10 companies. It’s a sign we are indeed moving forward.”
