Six Ways Businesses Can Use the Latest Facebook Marketing Tools

What do the words canvas, carousel and video have in common? In a word – Facebook.

With so many ways to reach your target audience, it’s important to stay on top of all of your available options so that you can make the best choices to reach your goals.

The newest ad type is Canvas.

Canvas is a full-screen, mobile-optimized, post-click experience that can feature a combination of images, videos, text and links.

You can create a Canvas with the Canvas Builder in Power Editor. (It will then become available in the publishing tools and composer of your Page.) When you’re done, you get a URL to use in their website click and website conversion ads.

People who tap an ad with a Canvas on their mobile phones or tablets can interact with the Canvas through taps, pans and swipes without leaving Facebook. A Canvas can also link off to your website where people can learn more about your business or purchase items they browsed on the Canvas.

The latest marketing tool, just released today, is “Your Business Story” – a tool that makes it easy to create a video that shows what your business brings to the world. The best part is – this tool is completely free! You can, however, boost your video post to get more exposure once it is posted to your Page.

Once your video is posted to your Page, hover your cursor in the upper right-hand corner of the post and choose “Edit”.  There you will be able to add tags to help your video be found and an option for a call to action and URL to be shown at the conclusion of your video.
